It's been one of the biggest stories of this summer's transfer window so far. The possible move of England's captain Harry Kane to the Premier League champions Manchester City.
The speculation around Kane's future in North London initially sparked after the striker did an interview with former Manchester United defender Gary Neville on Neville's YouTube channel, the Overlap.
In the interview, Kane expressed his feelings about not having won a trophy in his career and that he feels that he might have to move on from Tottenham to add silverware to his CV.
No sooner did the video hit the internet, the media then began questioning Kane's future in North London and also where his next destination would be.
It became quite clear that Kane wasn't interested in a move abroad and he wanted a move to a Premier League club.
In short, it doesn't take a detective to figure out which club was in his thoughts. Manchester City have been the front-runners and possibly the only ones in the race for the Tottenham forward.
The story gained more interest and traction as the weeks went on and with a Euro 2020 Final defeat now another missed opportunity for Kane his likelihood of a move for trophies became more believable.
The rumours of Kane moving to City became even more reliable when it was reported by Sky Sports that Kane missed Tottenham first-team training on 2nd August.
As days rolled on and speculation and disbelief amongst journalists and supporters continued the Englishman released a statement on Friday 6th August in which he stated that "I will be returning to the club tomorrow, as planned".
After all of that Kane only returned to team training on Monday 16 August, however, he was doing solo training in isolation before returning to the training ground this week.
Another big development was also made on Tuesday that Kane was named in the squad for Tottenham's Europa Conference League Play-Off this Thursday which added more confusion and complexity to this highly-debated transfer saga.
It may not be a confirmation of Kane's future if he does or doesn't play against Pacos de Ferreira on Thursday but all eyes will be on Sunday's Premier League trip to Wolves which many are suggesting that Kane should be involved in, even if it is only on the bench.
So as the transfer saga rolls on and with many developments made in such a short period of time, anything could occur in the last 13 days of this summer's transfer window.
